I worked at Sumo Digital as a Senior Designer on small team creating Hitman 2s finale chapter, The Isle of Sgail. I worked on this project from the initial concept phase through to launch where I worked as both a level and game designer, focused on AI behaviours, worldbuilding, combat & stealth encounters and story mission design.
- Creative ownership over large parts of the gameplay, narrative & level design
- Mentoring, reviewing & managing junior staff & work to ensure consistency & quality
- Presenting and pitching to key external stakeholders
- Technical implementation of gameplay events, AI behaviours & story missions
- International communication and coordination across time zones with co-dev staff members
- Prototyping gameplay set pieces
- Cinematic design of key narrative moments
- Supported post-launch content planning
- Implemented a number of secret Easter Eggs designed to challenge the community and lean into the franchises famous tongue in cheek tone
