Hitman 2: The Isle of Sgail

I worked at Sumo Digital as a Senior Designer on small team creating Hitman 2s finale chapter, The Isle of Sgail. I worked on this project from the initial concept phase through to launch where I worked as both a level and game designer, focused on AI behaviours, worldbuilding, combat & stealth encounters and story mission design.

  • Creative ownership over large parts of the gameplay, narrative & level design
  • Mentoring, reviewing & managing junior staff & work to ensure consistency & quality
  • Presenting and pitching to key external stakeholders
  • Technical implementation of gameplay events, AI behaviours & story missions
  • International communication and coordination across time zones with co-dev staff members
  • Prototyping gameplay set pieces
  • Cinematic design of key narrative moments
  • Supported post-launch content planning
  • Implemented a number of secret Easter Eggs designed to challenge the community and lean into the franchises famous tongue in cheek tone
